A ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday officially opened an Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant kayak launch on Cayuga Lake.
Located at Frontenac Park in Union Springs, the launch represents one of the few ADA-compliant options along the Blueway Trail on the lake and is the only fully ADA-compliant kayak launch on Cayuga Lake.
$63,045 was provided for the project by the New York State Local Waterfront Revitalization program.
