Ithaca Police Make Another Arson Arrest

SHARE NOW

For the second time in the last several days, an Ithaca resident has been arrested on an arson charge.

Firefighters and police responded to an apartment building in the 100 block of Cherry Street last Saturday afternoon for a reported apartment fire. An investigation determined the fire was allegedly intentionally set by 48-year-old Brandon Hricko, who was sent to jail following his arraignment.

Last Friday, 42-year-old Natasha Thomas was charged with arson for allegedly setting her apartment on fire at 130 Cherry Street.

Police did not indicate if the apartments where the fires occurred happened in the same building.
