An alleged road rage incident in Ontario County has landed a local man in some hot water.
40-year-old Matthew Johnson, of Canadice, is accused of being involved in the incident at Johnson Hill and South Old Bald Hill roads in Canadice Friday night. The victim claims Johnson was driving in a reckless manner when he almost struck their car head-on and from behind. Johnson also stands accused of later displaying what appeared to be a handgun to the victim and their 4-year-old child.
Johnson was charged with menacing, reckless endangerment, and endangering the welfare of a child.
