There were 13 overdoses in Cayuga County last month.
That’s according to the county’s health department which also states one was fatal. Of the 13 suspected overdoses, just under 30% are thought to have involved opioids.
That number is down from both last month which saw 22 overdoses and July of 2022 which saw 31 overdoses, including one fatality.
