The unemployment rate for Cayuga County has dipped slightly.
According to the state labor department, the county’s unemployment rate for the month of June was 3%; that’s down from 3.2% for the same time last year. That number is up slightly from last month when the unemployment rate was 2.9%.
Statewide, unemployment for last month was 3.9%.
