A husband and wife are dead after the motorcycle they were riding struck a deer.
It happened just before 11 Saturday morning on County Road 33 in the town of South Bristol. 58-year-old Edward Egan and 54-year-old Barbara Egan were ejected from the motorcycle after striking the deer. The Bloomfield couple was pronounced dead at the scene.
Assisting the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office at the scene were the Bristol and Richmond Fire Departments, along with the Richmond Ambulance.
The roadway was closed for approximately three hours for accident reconstruction.
