Farmington Woman Struck and Killed by Car

Police are still trying to determine what led to a woman being fatally struck by a car just before 10 o’clock last night in Farmington.

An initial investigation shows 18-year-old Maxwell Clar, of Farmington, was driving east on State Route 96 near Commerical Drive when he struck Estoria Moore with his Lexus Sedan. The 64-year-old Farmington resident was found by emergency crews lying unresponsive on the road. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Reconstruction Team and Criminal Investigation Division are investigating. State Route 96 between State Route 332 and Hook Road was closed for approximately three hours for an investigation. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
