A teenager was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after being involved in an ATV accident.
The Monday night accident happened in a wooded area off of Salmon Creek Road, near the intersection with Tuckahoe Road in Williamson. The unidentified 15-year-old was riding through an apple orchard when their view became obstructed causing them to drive off the trail and into a large ditch.
Police say the teen suffered non-life-threatening injuries and their investigation into the accident is ongoing.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Williamson Fire Department, Williamson Ambulance WN 27 and Wayne County Medic 84
