    Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
    WHERE
    In New York, Chemung, Schuyler, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Steuben, Tompkins, and Yates Counties. In Pennsylvania, Bradford and Wyoming Counties.
    WHEN
    From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 PM EDT Saturday.
    IMPACTS
    Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Update: 9-1-1 Restored in Seneca County

1 p.m. UPDATE: Melissa Taylor, Director of Office of Emergency Management and 9-1-1 Public Safety Communications tells us the issue involving 9-1-1 for Spectrum telephone customer has been resolved.

The Seneca County Office of Emergency Management has issued the following news release:

“Those with Spectrum telephone service are having trouble calling 911. You may receive a busy signal, it may continuously ring, or you may receive a message saying your call cannot be completed as dialed. If you have Spectrum telephone service and you are not able to reach Seneca County 911 by dialing “9-1-1”, please call our non-emergency number at (315)-539-9241. Spectrum is aware of this issue and they are working on a resolution.”
