Update: Auburn Police report that power was restored and street lights are working once again after a Monday morning power line fire caused a power outage for City Hall and the surrounding area.
Crews were able to restore power around 2:00p.
An electrical issue near City Hall is causing a traffic detour in Auburn.
According to Auburn Police, the detour the issue has caused a detour in traffic on South Street and Lincoln Street.
If you need to drive in the area, police are asking you pay close attention as power may be lost from City Hall North to Arterial West, East to Seminary Ave and West to James Street.
City Hall has shut down for the day.
