The State University of New York Chancellor John King talked with students and toured Cayuga Community College Monday.
King is touring all 64 SUNY campuses across the state.
King spoke with nursing students about their lab work and stopped at the college library to learn more about the school’s tutoring program.
King was named SUNY chancellor in December. He served as state education commissioner from 2011 to 2014. In the final year of President Barack Obama’s term, he served as education secretary.
Perfect close to this visit by checking out the @CayugaCC culinary space! These students are embracing their love of food and learning valuable skills that will transfer into future careers. To the entire CCC community, thanks for having me! pic.twitter.com/mimA9GQXTB
