A grand jury has indicted a man for attempting to assault a Correction Officer with a weapon while he was an inmate at the Cayuga Correctional Facility.
According to District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci, Darryl Bradshaw is charged with felony counts of promoting prison contraband, attempted assault, and tampering with physical evidence.
On October 16, 2022, Bradshaw is alleged to have used a contraband weapon in an attempt to injure an officer before hiding said weapon in his cell’s toilet.
He was arraigned Thursday and will have his next court date in March. Bradshaw is currently confined to Auburn Correctional Facility and faces a consecutive prison sentence.
