One area college has announced it will be offering a cannabis education program.
Through self-paced online instruction, Onondaga Community College will offer three workforce certificates related to the marijuana industry through its CannabisHub.
The Cannabis Cultivation Science Certificate will cover horticulture, growth, and pest control. Dispensary Training will cover the history of pot, dispensary operations, and CBD. Extraction Science will discuss different ways of extracting THC from the plant.
OCC’s CannabisHub is possible through a partnership with the Cleveland School of Cannabis.
