State Senator Rachel May will be in Auburn Thursday for a ceremonial swearing in ceremony.
The senator for New York’s 48th State Senate District will take the oath of office at 5:00p at City Council’s weekly meeting. Senator May says she’s excited to represent history’s hometown.
May adds that she wants her new constituents to know she will be accessible to them.
May previously represented New York’s 53rd Senate District before redistricting led to her running in and winning the 48th district which is composed of Cayuga County and parts of Onondaga County.
