• Supervisors reached agreement with the town of Ovid to use the Three Bears for some court sessions and for meetings. Supervisors will hold their meeting there October 8.
• This week has been declared Sheriff’s Week in Seneca County.
• K-9 Ben is retiring from service. His handler, Sgt. John Fowler will purchase Ben and take care of him.
• A hearing will be held on the Verona Village senior apartment project October 8.
