• Public gratitude for Safety Officer Eric Reuscher for correcting issues found in a safety audit and for staff of the Ontario County Soil and Water Conservation District for their help with flood mitigation projects.
• Longtime Town Historian Barbara Lamb recently passed away.
• The town may eventually fund a person to head Geneva Reuse Systems as that entity works toward creating a reuse center.
• The town is using both federal and state grant money to divert waste from landfills.
• Ontario County Supervisors may decide whether the Ontario County landfill will shut down at their December 5 meeting.
