• Sgt. Myers runs the Sheriff’s Department drone program. There are four drones and four trained pilots in the department. They are used for search and rescue and apprehending suspects.

• The department hosts its Fall Public Safety Blood Drive November 1.
• A metal detector and bag scanner have been installed at the County Office Building.
