• The Auburn Police Department has renewed its mutual aid agreement with the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Department. The County Legislature is expected to approve it at its next meeting.
• The council heard a presentation from Acadia Energy, the company that is working with the city to bring it into compliance with the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, a state law passed in 2019.
• The Mayor and Comptroller made the first of what will now become quarterly budget updates. Sales tax revenues are four percent ahead of projections, but much of the increase will go toward increased fire and police retirement costs and health insurance.
• The State St. repaving project is complete.
