Miley Anderson scored the game’s first goal off an assist by Ruby Berry just 53 seconds in, and Penn Yan never looked back.  The #1 seed led 8-0 at the end of the 1st quarter, 15-0 at halftime, and 19-0 at the end of the third.  All-American Bailey Cooper scored six goals to lead Penn Yan, with teammates Addison Gillette and McKenna Mullins both scoring three goals each. Anderson and Lila Hansen would each score twice for Penn Yan, with Berry, Gianna Voigt, and Olive Ditzell all tallying one goal each in the victory.

Cooper, who now has 87 goals on the season and 390 for her career, was named tournament MVP.  Joining her on the all-tournament team from Penn Yan are Addison Gillette, Makenna Mullins, and Lila Hansen.

Teagan Hudak and Baylee Vilord scored goals for Pal-Mac, who finished the season with a 13-5 record.

With the win, Penn Yan (17-1) advances to the Sub-Regional state tournament game and will take on Eden-North Collins out of Section 6 on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Churchville-Chili.  Eden-North Collins won the Section 6 Class D championship last Wednesday, 10-7, against Salamanca.
