The Keuka College softball team closed out the 2026 season by splitting a doubleheader with Alfred State on Sunday at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Keuka College (7-26) took the opener in dominant fashion, 9-0 in five innings, behind a standout performance from Olivia Flynn and a big day at the plate from Hailey Jasinski. Alfred State responded with a 10-4 win in the nightcap.
Game 1: Keuka College 9, Alfred State 0 (5 innings)
The Wolves jumped out early and never looked back. Katie Landers singled to start the scoring threat, and Hailey Jasinski followed with her seventh home run of the season to give Keuka a 2-0 lead. An error later in the inning made it 3-0.
In the second, Olivia Flynn doubled and later scored on Jasinskiβs second home run of the game, extending the lead to 5-0.
Keuka added four more runs in the third inning, stringing together four straight hits. Flynn contributed an RBI single, while bases-loaded walks to Jasinski, Lindsay Stuck, and Grace Eagen forced in additional runs to make it 9-0.
Flynn handled the rest in the circle, striking out five of the final six batters β including the side in the fifth β to secure the complete game shutout.
Game 2: Alfred State 10, Keuka College 4
Alfred State took control early, scoring two runs in the first inning and adding three more in the second.
Keuka responded in the fourth inning with an RBI groundout from Lena Ramos and an RBI single from Giana Mruczek to cut the deficit to 5-2.
However, Alfred State answered with five runs in the fifth inning. The Wolves showed some fight in the bottom half, loading the bases before Grace Eagen delivered a two-run single to make it 10-4, but that would be as close as Keuka would get.
