Keuka College student-athletes continued to excel in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year, helping the Department of Athletics achieve its highest overall grade point average in three years.

The Green and Gold posted a departmental GPA of 3.32 during the spring semester, the highest semester average since Spring 2023. That contributed to a 3.30 GPA for the full academic year, also the department’s best mark in three years.

The Empire 8 Conference announced its President’s List on Tuesday, with 89 Keuka College student-athletes earning recognition. Leading the way were 40 student-athletes who achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring semester. Twenty of those students maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout the entire academic year.

Keuka College also had 11 athletic teams earn Empire 8 All-Academic Team honors during the spring semester, tying for the second-highest total in program history.

The softball team led all Wolves programs with a 3.62 GPA in the spring and a 3.68 GPA for the full academic year. Women’s Soccer followed with a 3.60 GPA for the semester, while Women’s Lacrosse ranked third at 3.56.

Among the men’s programs, Baseball and Men’s Soccer each posted a 3.47 GPA during the spring semester. Baseball finished with the highest year-long GPA among men’s teams at 3.45, narrowly ahead of Men’s Soccer’s 3.42. Men’s Golf ranked third among men’s programs with a 3.42 GPA.

To qualify for the Empire 8 President’s List, student-athletes must earn a semester GPA of 3.75 or higher. Teams must post a collective GPA of at least 3.20 during the semester to receive All-Academic Team recognition.
