The ABCA and D3baseball.com announced their All-Region baseball teams, and three Hobart Statesmen earned recognition following the program’s record-setting 2026 season.
Senior pitcher Teck Nash was named to the ABCA All-Region second team, while junior first baseman Sean Garvin and first-year shortstop Jack O’Neil were selected to the third team. D3baseball.com also honored Nash and O’Neil with second-team selections.
Nash, the 2026 Liberty League Pitcher of the Year, set Hobart single-season records for starts and innings pitched while tying the program mark for wins with seven. He finished the season with 50 strikeouts and ranked among the national leaders in several pitching categories, including games started and walks allowed per nine innings.
Over his career, Nash appeared in 44 games and set a program record with 227 innings pitched. He finished with 136 strikeouts and the lowest walks-per-nine-innings average in school history.
Garvin earned second-team All-Liberty League honors after batting a team-best .398 with Hobart single-season records for doubles and runs scored. He also drove in 50 runs and posted a perfect fielding percentage at first base, recording 369 putouts and 26 assists without an error.
O’Neil, the Liberty League Rookie of the Year, hit .369 with 51 runs scored and led the conference with 28 stolen bases. He also recorded two four-hit games during the season, including a five-RBI performance against Keuka.
Hobart finished the 2026 season with a program-record 32 wins and made just the second NCAA Tournament appearance in school history, and the first since 1992.
