The New York State youth turkey hunt weekend returns later this month.
Young hunters between 12 and 15 will be able to go afield with older hunters and gain knowledge and experience turkey hunting.
Youth are still required to have a valid hunting license and a turkey permit. Adults may assist the young hunters but not hunt the birds themselves.
All other hunting regulations apply.
The youth turkey hunting weekend runs the 22nd-23rd.
