New York State agencies and local partners are hosting a series of winter energy fairs this month where residents can learn more about wintertime assistance that is available for income-eligible New Yorkers.
A fair will be held on December 16th in Syracuse at the Westcott Community Center from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The fair on December 16th will highlight programs to help pay home heating bills, weatherization programs, emergency assistance for individuals at risk of running out of fuel or having their utility service shut off, and other winter assistance. It will also highlight programs and services for older adults such as nutrition, transportation, and other community-based supports provided through offices for the aging.
