    Heavy snow expected. Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches. Northwest winds gusting as high as 35 mph Monday afternoon will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
    WHERE
    Portions of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania.
    WHEN
    Until 7 PM EST Monday.
    IMPACTS
    Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    Snowfall hourly rates could exceed 2 inches per hour through the evening hours. The snow tapers down this evening. Temperatures will be very cold throughout this storm, hovering in the upper single digits to teens the entire time, with colder wind chills.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Persons are urged to stay indoors until conditions improve. If you must go outside, dress in layers. Several layers of clothes will keep you warmer than a single heavy coat. Cover exposed skin to reduce your risk of frostbite or hypothermia. Gloves, a scarf, and a hat will keep you from losing your body heat. Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.

Wegmans Recalls Frozen Waffles and Pancakes Due to Listeria Concerns

Wegmans is recalling its brand of frozen waffles and pancakes because of potential Listeria contamination.

If you have purchased any Wegmans brand waffles or pancakes, you can return them to any Wegmans for a full refund.

Listeria infections can cause mild illness including fever and diarrhea or more serious problems. The illness is most dangerous to pregnant women, newborns, adults over 65, and people with weakened immune systems, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.
