Wegmans and the Buffalo Bills have announced an expanded partnership that will see the grocery chain continue as the Official Tailgate Headquarters and become a Founding Partner of the Bills’ new Highmark Stadium, set to open in 2026.
The collaboration, first established in 2021, focuses on community outreach, fundraising, and fan engagement. Over the past four years, the partnership has raised more than $4 million, provided thousands of meals, collected tens of thousands of pounds of food, and funded youth programs across upstate New York. Initiatives such as Huddle for Hunger, allergen-friendly food drives, and the Fisher-Price® Little People Collector sets benefiting Oishei Children’s Hospital have connected Bills fans and Wegmans customers in efforts to strengthen local communities.
“Our partnership with the Buffalo Bills has made a powerful impact—raising millions, providing meals for families facing food insecurity, and supporting programs that strengthen our communities,” said Deana Percassi, Wegmans Vice President of Community Engagement and Communications. “The Bills share our commitment to giving back, and Bills Mafia has embraced these efforts in an incredible way. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited to build on and expand this impact further into our upstate New York markets in the years ahead.”
Jason Hartlund, Bills Chief Commercial Officer, added, “We’re thrilled to have Wegmans continue as the Official Tailgate Headquarters and welcome them as a Founding Partner of new Highmark Stadium. Wegmans embodies the heart of Bills Mafia, delivering fresh, quality food for every game day ritual and beyond. Together, we’ll power unforgettable tailgates, fan experiences, and community initiatives that keep Western New York charging forward.”
As part of the expanded partnership, Wegmans will also become the presenting partner of the Buffalo Bills Training Camp in Pittsford, NY, deepening its engagement with local fans and the broader community. The collaboration also includes exclusive product offerings, such as limited-edition Fisher-Price® Little People Collector Buffalo Bills figure sets and the Wegmans Brand Josh Allen MVP Puffs cereal, both currently available in select stores.
“Our partnership with the Buffalo Bills gives us a unique way to connect with our customers through products they’re truly excited about,” said Craig Hoffman, Wegmans Senior Vice President of Marketing. “From exclusive items to community-driven initiatives, we’ve seen firsthand how much these offerings resonate with our customers, and we look forward to bringing them even more in the seasons ahead.”
With this expanded partnership, Wegmans and the Buffalo Bills aim to deliver stronger fan experiences, support local communities, and continue building on a proven record of impact across Western New York.
