SHARE NOW

New York State Police, working with the FBI and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, have arrested three men in separate investigations targeting individuals using social media to entice minors into sexual activity.

The arrests include:

  • Ronald Wenzinger, 70, of Binghamton, a United Methodist Church Reverend in Harpursville, charged with Attempted Rape in the Second Degree. He was processed and turned over to Broome County Jail. Authorities say there is no indication of additional crimes by Wenzinger.
  • John Tremark, 39, of Binghamton, charged with Attempted Rape in the Second Degree, also processed and held at Broome County Jail.
  • Juan Bolanoszul, 38, of Endicott, charged with Attempted Rape in the Second Degree and held at Broome County Jail.

State police emphasize their ongoing commitment, alongside the FBI and ICAC, to protecting children from predators who exploit technology.

Anyone with information regarding crimes against children is urged to contact the New York State Police or their local law enforcement agency.
