For the second year in a row, USA Today has named Syracuse’s International Taste Festival one of the nation’s best city food festivals. Public voting for this year’s nominees is underway through March 18 at noon.
In 2023, the festival finished public voting 8th from among 20 nominees chosen by a panel of the publication’s editors along with experts in the field, alongside festivals in Denver, Dallas, Philadelphia and Buffalo. The festival returns Saturday, April 6 to the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The International Taste Festival specializes in foods and beverages from the many cultures of the world, providing a mix of choices not typically found at festivals and fairs alongside more familiar fare.
“It’s an honor for the festival to be recognized nationally. Our food, our performances and our arts and crafts give everyone a glimpse into the many cultures that make up our beautiful state,” said Stephanie Pestillo, festival organizer.
