Syracuse Couple Arrested Following Drugs & Guns

Two Syracuse residents are facing charges after a Tuesday morning search of their apartment turned up drugs and firearms.

According to law enforcement, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Detectives and Regional Fugitive Task Force Task Officers were attempting to locate Julian Muolo for a prior warrant related to drug and weapons charges. While at his Ivy Ridge Road apartment. they claim to have seen a ghost gun in his bedroom where his 18-month-old daughter was as well as what appeared to be fentanyl on top of the child’s iPad.

Muolo was found hiding in the closet along with an AR15.

A search warrant for the premises was executed and law enforcement found the following: one ghost AR15 rifle, two 9mm ghost handguns, one Glock 43 9mm handgun, three 30-round high capacity 9mm magazines, one sawed-off .22 caliber rifle, approximately 3.5kg of molly, 7,327 bags of fentanyl, 3g cocaine, an undisclosed amount of morphine, suboxone, alprazolam, methadone, and over $65,000 US currency.

The 28-year-old and his girlfriend, Shianna Washington, were both arraigned on the following charges: 11 counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, five counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm, seven counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia. The pair are being held at the Onondaga County Jail without bail.

The child was placed in the custody of a grandmother.

Authorities noted that Muolo is also a parolee for a New Jersey robbery.
