Update: Lauren North has been located and is in good health.

New York State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman from Liverpool.

Authorities say 34-year-old Lauren North was last seen leaving St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse on August 6 around 2:45 p.m. She is believed to be on foot. North is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds. Her clothing at the time is unknown.

Family members reported her missing after she failed to return home, saying it is unusual for her to be out of contact. Police note she has no known friends, employment, or regular locations outside her residence. She may be in either Onondaga or Oswego County.

State Police, along with local hospitals, agencies, and shelters, have been working to locate her but have not yet been successful.

Anyone with information on North’s whereabouts is asked to call State Police at (315) 366-6000 and reference case #NY2500709535.
