SHARE NOW

State Police are looking for an F-150 pickup truck that sideswiped a marked patrol car in the city of Syracuse early Monday morning.

Troopers were out of their patrol vehicle investigating a stolen vehicle complaint at the intersection of Gertrude Ave and Oak Street in the City of Syracuse. The Troopers marked patrol vehicle was parked on Gertrude Ave at the intersection when it was struck/sideswiped by an F150 (newer model w/crew cab) pickup truck that was traveling east on Gertrude Ave. The pickup truck fled the scene, taking a left turn onto Oak Street and eventually out of sight from the troopers.

The F150 pickup truck was dark in color and occupied by a driver and front seat passenger.

The photos of the suspect vehicle were taken from city surveillance cameras.

If anyone has any information regarding the hit and run, they are asked to contact State Police at Troop D Headquarters (315) 366-6000.
