The New York State Police have received numerous reports of drone sightings over the past 24 hours and are investigating each report and sharing information with federal and local law enforcement partners through the New York State Intelligence Center.
In a post on social media, the agency stated he has no evidence at this point that any of the reported sightings pose a public safety threat.
State Police are asking the public to report sightings via email with time, date, location, and any pictures or video to [email protected].
Even though it was not indicated where in the post the drone sightings have been reported, ABC News reports communities downstate and in northern New Jersey have reported multiple drone sightings in recent days.
