Vendor applications are now open for the 2026 Great New York State Fair, giving businesses across the state and beyond the opportunity to be part of New York’s largest summer event.
Fair officials announced that applications are being accepted for the 2026 Fair, which will run from August 26 through September 7. Organizers say they are looking to introduce new and innovative vendors while continuing to feature longtime favorites that fairgoers have come to expect.
The Fair’s marketplace features a wide range of offerings, from regional foods and cultural specialties to clothing, accessories, home and garden items, and specialty services. Nearly one million visitors attend the Fair each year, making it a major platform for vendors to build brand awareness, connect with new customers, and grow their businesses.
“The Great New York State Fair has played a huge role in our story the last 10 years,” said Nick Sanford, owner of Toss & Fire Pizza. “Every year, we meet thousands of new guests who turn into regulars, supporters, and friends. The Fair brings an unmatched sense of community, and being a part of it has allowed Toss & Fire to grow in ways we never imagined.”
Kirstie Phillips, owner of the boutique Pink Bronco, said her company’s debut at the Fair was a turning point. She credited strong customer engagement, sales, and brand exposure with helping the business establish a loyal following and expand into new markets.
Fair Director Julie LaFave said supporting vendors is a key part of the Fair’s mission. “One of the best parts of my job is providing opportunities for businesses to thrive,” LaFave said. “We work closely with our vendors to ensure they have the best Fair experience possible, and in turn, our fairgoers enjoy a memorable event filled with variety and quality.”

Important dates for the 2026 application process include:
- January 16, 2026: Priority deadline for returning vendor applications
- January 19, 2026: New vendor applications begin review on a rolling basis
- March 15, 2026: Final deadline for all vendor applications; applications submitted after this date will incur a 1.5 percent rate increase

The 2026 Great New York State Fair runs from Wednesday, August 26, through Monday, September 7. All concerts are included with admission, along with access to grounds entertainment and the Fair’s full concert lineup.
