The Great New York State Fair has announced that Jamaican dancehall star Sean Paul will perform at Suburban Park on August 27, at 8 p.m. This marks Sean Paul’s first-ever appearance at the Fair.
Fair Director Julie LaFave said Sean Paul’s energetic style and global appeal make him an exciting addition to the lineup. “His first-time Fair performance is sure to be a high-energy, unforgettable experience for fans and newcomers alike,” LaFave said.
Sean Paul has been a major force in reggae and dancehall for more than two decades, with hits such as Temperature, Gimme the Light, Baby Boy, and Breathe. He has earned multiple Grammy nominations and performed at festivals, award shows, and clubs around the world.
The 2026 Fair will feature 41 national recording acts across two stages. Daily concerts at Chevy Court will take place at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., with nightly shows at 8 p.m. in Suburban Park. Two additional 9 p.m. shows are scheduled for Friday, August 28, and Friday, September 4 at Chevy Court.
The Fair opens on August 26 and runs through Labor Day, September 7. Tickets for the Fair are $8 for adults, while admission is free for children under 12 and seniors 65 and older. All concerts are included with admission.
The Fair promises a diverse musical lineup this year, with more performer announcements expected in the coming months.
