A nurse at a senior housing community in the Southern Tier is facing charges after she allegedly falsified records and took medication intended for patients.
According to State Police, while working at Good Shepherd Communities Endwell, in Broome County, 63-year-old Carol Hissin allegedly signed out medication that was supposed to be given to residents but never administered the medication.
Hissin was arrested by State Police at her home and charged with three counts of Falsifying Business Records, all felonies, and a misdemeanor charge of Scheme to Defraud.
Hissin was turned over to the Broome County Jail to await arraignment.
