SHARE NOW

An early morning fire in the Southern Tier on Sunday claimed the life of an 84-year-old man.

When State Police arrived at the home on White Birch Lake Road in the Broome County town of Windsor just before 5 o’clock, the structure was fully engulfed in flames.

84-year-old Daniel Price was located dead inside the residence by members of the Windsor Fire Department. An 82-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man were transported by ambulance to Wilson Medical Center for what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
