A Skaneateles man has been sentenced to over 15 years in prison for a child pornography conviction.
According to the US Attorney’s Office for New York’s Northern District, 50-year old Marc Leonardis admitted to secretly taking pictures of a child and posting them online over 200 times, receiving images depicting the sexual exploitation of children in return.
He also told the groups, which included an undercover FBI agent, about his sexual abuse of the child in the photos.
In addition to 188 months in prison followed by 15 years supervised release, Leonardis will have to register as a sex offender and pay $5,000 to each of the two victims in the pornography he received as well as $5,100 in special assessments.
