State Police are helping investigate a shooting that happened Monday afternoon at a home in the city of Cortland.
An initial investigation showed gunfire was exchanged inside a home on Homer Avenue at around 1 in the afternoon. A person inside the home suffered injuries and was taken to Upstate Medical Center.
Police say there is no danger to the public and the investigation is ongoing.
