Two people were arrested Wednesday after allegedly blowing up a mailbox in Salina last month.
According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the 100 Block of Sudbury Drive in Salina on April 27 for several reports of a loud noise. An investigation found a mailbox had been destroyed and the pot damaged by an incendiary device. Further investigation revealed the incident was related to a previous dispute.
21-year-old Alexandra Conklin and 19-year-old Quinn Hudson were arrested and charged with felony counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Possession of an Explosive Device, and misdemeanor counts of Criminal Mischief. The pair are currently being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center.
