U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer attended the Buffalo Bills’ 2023 training camp at St. John Fisher University in Rochester on Thursday and gave his thoughts on the Bills’ upcoming season:
“I am thrilled to see the Buffalo Bills back in action on the field, and on behalf of all of Bills Mafia, wish this incredibly talented and dedicated team good luck as they prepare for the upcoming season. After a season of adversity last year, one of the best parts of being at training camp has been watching the return of Damar Hamlin, who has been practicing in full and even intercepted a pass for a touchdown. This year, the championship window is wide open for the Bills, and I have high hopes that if we trust the process, we’ll all be reunited down on Delaware Ave this February for a celebration like no other. I’m looking forward to watching the Bills light up the field as they return to Orchard Park and kick off football season with their first preseason game at Highmark Stadium this Saturday. Go Bills!”
