A Saratoga County woman was arrested Sunday night for allegedly attempting to set her mom on fire.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a 9-1-1 call was received by a Town of Milton resident who claimed their neighbor’s daughter had poured gasoline inside their residence and attempted to set her mother on fire. 31-year-old Ashley Millington was charged with arson and attempted arson, both felonies, after she was able to start a fire in the home after her mother had fled. The mom was evaluated on the scene and reportedly uninjured.
Millington was sent to Saratoga County Jail following her arraignment.
