New York State Police have arrested a Rochester man following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving young children at a daycare.
Noah Hoefler, 24, was charged with Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
The arrest followed a comprehensive investigation that began after a law enforcement referral was received in November 2024. The investigation included forensic interviews and coordination with the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office. Multiple victims allegedly disclosed incidents of abuse occurring while under the supervision of Hoefler outside of a childcare setting.
After consultation between the District Attorney’s Office and defense counsel, arrangements were made for Hoefler to turn himself in. Accompanied by his attorney, Hoefler voluntarily surrendered at the State Police Rochester barracks and was taken into custody without incident.
Hoefler was transported to Greece Town Court for arraignment.
