The United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes’ annual ROC the Day online fundraising event returns this Tuesday, December 2, 2025, coinciding with Giving Tuesday.
The 24-hour online event celebrates community generosity by giving residents across the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region the opportunity to support local nonprofits through a single, secure online platform.
This year’s event features a catalog of more than 600 organizations representing a wide range of causes — including health and human services, education, the arts, animal welfare, and environmental initiatives — making it easy for donors to support what matters most to them.
“Giving on ROC the Day is easy—but the impact lasts all year,” said Erin Bombard, Director of Marketing and Communications for United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes. “It’s amazing what this community can do in just one day. Every donation helps someone right here at home. These 24 hours prove that when we all give a little, we can change a lot.”
