A Jordan man is dead after police say he drove his F-150 pickup truck through ice in Jefferson County.
An investigation determined shortly before nine Saturday night, Jeremy Hubbard drove off the end of Rivershore Drive in Clayton and onto the ice before his truck became partially submerged after it fell through the thinner ice further out in the bay off Steel Point. Authorities were alerted of the incident just before eight on Sunday morning. A State Police dive team recovered the 49-year-old Hubbard’s body.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
