A Camillus man is facing several felony charges after an incident at a wedding reception in the Town of Skaneateles.
According to State Police, they were called to a residence on Stump Road around 6:15 Saturday night. When they arrived, they found several guests restraining 46-year-old Christopher Kallfelz.
An investigation found Kallfelz was asked to leave the wedding after becoming highly intoxicated and engaging in multiple verbal and physical altercations, including forcibly touching four female guests. After leaving the wedding, he returned to the Stump Road address with an AR-15-style rifle. While walking up the driveway in an aggressive manner, he loaded a 30-round magazine into it before cycling the action.
Feeling threatened and believing he was going to kill the wedding guests, several attendees were able to disarm Kallfelz until police could arrive.
He was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, one count of Making a Terroristic Threat, all felonies. He also faces four misdemeanor counts of Forcible Touching, and one count of Aggravated DWI.
Kallfelz was taken to the Onondaga County Justice Center to await arraignment.
