An American Airlines Flight from Philadelphia skidded off the runway at the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport on Thursday.
WHEC-TV in Rochester reports none of the 53 people onboard were injured. An airport spokesperson said the plane landed safely but veered into the grass while turning. The airline in a statement said the plane exited the taxiway due to snowy airfield conditions.
The plane was towed from the taxiway and taken out of service for a full inspection.
