The owner of the Dog Gone Inn in Manlius has been arrested following an investigation into the doggie daycare facility.
Authorities previously seized four dogs from the business in November and returned ten dogs to their owners. The Village of Manlius Codes Office also closed the facility, declaring it unfit for both human and animal occupancy.
On Friday, Leah Pekarsky of Jamesville was taken into custody by Town of Manlius Police. She faces four counts of animal cruelty, animal abandonment, and failure to provide food and water to an impounded animal.
The investigation into the facility is ongoing.
