An Oswego County Corrections Officer has been arrested on child pornography charges.
At the beginning of the week, the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office said it became aware of information related to online child pornography activity. During the investigation, it was determined that 37-year-old Christopher Weber, of Mexico, NY, was allegedly involved in downloading and disseminating child pornography online. He was charged with five felony counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child.
After his arrest, Weber was suspended pending termination from the Corrections Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
