The New York Farm Show wrapped up its 40th anniversary celebration with a record debut of more than 65 new agricultural products during the three-day event at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, New York.
The show, held February 26 through 28, drew thousands of farmers and agricultural professionals from across the Northeast. Organizers say exhibit halls were busy throughout the event, which featured more than 400 exhibitors and about 300,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space.
Since launching in 1985, the event has grown into one of the region’s largest agricultural gatherings. Exhibitors showcased equipment and technology related to dairy and beef production, forestry, crop management and heavy machinery.
Matt Jungmann, senior events director for Farm Progress, said the milestone reflects the show’s long-standing role in supporting farmers across the region.
“What started as a regional gathering has grown into the most trusted agricultural event in the Northeast,” Jungmann said in a statement.
Organizers say more than 65 new products were introduced during this year’s show, including agricultural drones, dairy rotary systems, artificial intelligence cooling technology, new utility tractors, next-generation balers and livestock equipment.
The event is organized through a partnership between Farm Progress and the North American Equipment Dealers Association, which helps connect farmers with manufacturers and agricultural technology companies.
Next year’s New York Farm Show is scheduled for February 25 through 27, 2027, at the New York State Fairgrounds. More information is available on the event’s website.
