The New York State Police report that a 21-year-old Baldwinsville man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 690 eastbound in Geddes on Thursday.
State Police say just before 6 p.m., a 2011 Ford F-250 pickup truck, driven by a 36-year-old Syracuse man, changed lanes from the driving lane to the passing lane. A 2006 Suzuki motorcycle then struck the rear of the truck.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The truck driver was uninjured and tested by a State Police Drug Recognition Expert, showing no signs of impairment. No citations were issued. The names of those involved in the accident have not been released.
The State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is assisting with the ongoing investigation. Interstate 690 eastbound was closed for several hours while the scene was processed.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
